What is the fragrance?
Bergamot, Cucumber & Cedarwood
Are there any nasty chemicals or toxins in them?
No way, José!! Our Shampoo and Conditioner are both free from silicones, EDTA, dyes, parabens, phthalates, TEA, DEA, dimethicone, formaldehyde & triclosan.
Can the shampoo be used on my pets?
Our Shampoo has been specifically designed for humans, not pets. However that's not to say we won't release a beauty range for our furry friends sometime in the future...
Can I use these on my baby or children?
Whilst our Shampoo & Conditioner has not been specifically formulated for children, it has been formulated to exclude any potentially irritating ingredients including silicones, EDTA, dyes, parabens, phthalates, TEA, DEA, dimethicone, formaldehyde & triclosan.
We recommend avoiding contact with eyes and if irritation occurs rinse immediately and discontinue use!
Are your shampoos colour-safe?
Our Shampoo & Conditioner formulations have been designed as an everyday “one size fits most” offering. That being said, although they were not formulated to specialise in colour treated hair, we are pleased to report that results from our customer trials prior to product launch conveyed 87% of our coloured hair testers would happily reorder again.

Is this shampoo appropriate for someone with dandruff
To remedy dandruff, we recommend first treating your hair with specifically medicated dandruff shampoos before trialling Zero Co’s Shampoo and Conditioner for a gentle everyday wash.
Is this shampoo appropriate for someone with a sensitive scalp?
Our Shampoo utilises a botanical blend of chamomile, nettle, birch and horsetail extracts known for stimulating hair growth, improving hair texture and soothing itch prone and sensitive scalps.
Before launching the product we ran some VIP customer trials to receive valuable feedback on how different hair types reacted with our shampoo & conditioner. We’re pleased to advise 100% of our sensitive scalp hair testers reported they’d happily reorder again.

Why is my hair so oily after switching to the Zero Co Shampoo & Conditioner?
When transitioning from a synthetic-based to a plant-based Shampoo & Conditioner, it is common for your hair to experience a 2-4 week adjustment period. This is because whilst using harsh chemical-based S&C, your hair is stripped of its natural protective barrier and therefore gets used to producing excessive amounts of oil.
When you move to a gentler, plant based shampoo, the scalp is no longer stripped of its natural oils, and consequently you might find your scalp gets oily quicker than it used to. During this transition phase the scalp and hair will rebalance its natural production of oils to ultimately stay naturally clean and healthy for longer.
If you can wait out the transition period we’d expect you’ll find your scalp’s oil levels will rebalance and you’ll experience naturally soft, smooth and healthy locks!
